About Power & Signal Group
Power & Signal Group is a strategic group within Arrow Electronics, Inc. (NYSE: ARW) dedicated to the unique design and distribution requirements of the transportation industry. It is a worldwide distributor of interconnection systems and components for the transportation industry. From its North American headquarters and its sales and distribution centers in Europe, Asia and South America the company is able to provide global coverage to its customers - delivering product when, where and how it's needed. With its on-site technical engineers and sales offices located around the globe, the Power & Signal Group is a clear leader in generating demand for its supplier's products within the transportation industry.


Power & Signal Group Company History

Power & Signal Group began its journey in 1982 when it became a distributor for Delphi Connection Systems. In the 30 years since, Power & Signal Group has become a reliable source for transportation components. The company grew into an international force opening facilities and maintaining inventories in the United States, the Netherlands, China and Brazil. Today, it is a worldwide ISO 9001:2000 certified distributor boasting an inventory of 16,000+ part numbers, an international, multilingual sales force and 164 employees.

1982 Signed distribution agreement with Delphi (then owned by GM)
1993 Assumed single point distribution for North American customers
2000 Opened European office and distribution center in Hilden, Germany
2003 Power & Signal Group is acquired by Arrow Electronics
2004 Opened sales office in Shanghai, China
Expanded connector product line to include Mechatronic switches
2005 Expanded sensor product line to include Wabash Technologies and Honeywell Sensing and Control
Opened distribution center in Shanghai, China
2006 Expanded connector product line to include Molex, Inc.
2008 Expanded product portfolio to include Omron Corporation relays and switches and Amphenol AIO, Sine and ATPI
Opened PSG South America sales office and distribution center in Sao Paulo, Brazil
2009 Expanded product portfolio to include TE Connectivity and Cinch
